AIC (Architecture, Interior Design, Creativity) Design Studio is a Dar-es-Salaam based office providing architecture design, interior design, landscape architecture, quantity surveying and project management services for clients in both the public and private sectors. Our design process is dedicated to collaborative approach, creativity, innovation, art and teamwork from commencement to completion of the project. The attention to all elements of design, costs and construction has been a constant in the firm’s philosophy.

Violet Mafuwe

Violet Mafuwe is a Founder, Creative Designer and Construction Manager of the Studio. She holds B.Arch. from Ardhi University-Tanzania, M. Arch. in Healthcare Designs from University of Rome-Italy and PGD Diploma in Housing and Urban Development from Erasmus University-Netherlands. In addition she holds Masters of Construction Management from University of Dar-es-Salaam. 

Her philosophy and work ethic promote authentic, elegance and refinement. She is artistic, well balanced, innovatively detailed, simplistic forms give her work a timeless aesthetic and flexibility. 

In 2020 and 2024 she has won prestigious award as the Best Mentor for Women in Construction Mentorship Program in Tanzania.

Idasion Saria

Idasion Saria is an extensively qualified Quantity Surveyor with a rich and diverse background in the Oil and Gas Industry.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Building Economics from Ardhi   University- Tanzania. She brings in over 10 years of experience in construction management with a specialization in project lifecycle management, procurement and contracts administration. She takes prides on successfully delivering numerous projects from inception to completion.

Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of collaborating with both local and international Contractors, Manufacturers, Service Providers and Consultants.

In recent years she has witnessed her leadership skills flourish as she ascended the corporate ladder to the top Managerial roles. This journey has allowed her to refine her strategic acumen and oversee operations with unwavering commitment to excellence. She is dedicated to continue making impactful contributions to her industry.
